The complete process of obtaining a work permit and a single residence permit involves several official fees paid to different institutions. With ROPIC’s services, you receive detailed instructions for the correct payment of all fees, and we guide you step-by-step through the entire process.

Fee for the Employment Endorsement
  • 100 EUR (RON equivalent) for permanent, seconded, cross-border, intern, highly qualified, and au pair workers.
  • 25 EUR (RON equivalent) for seasonal workers.
  • 25 EUR (RON equivalent) for changing employers or for foreign nationals with a right to residency for studies/family reunification.

Work Permit Fee

  • Where to pay: At the Treasury / ANAF
  • Account: State budget, account RO58TREZ57620340101XXXXX, beneficiary IGI, code 22084517 for Sibiu County. For other counties, accounts are displayed at ANAF.
  • Note: The RON equivalent is paid at the BNR exchange rate on the day of payment.
  • When to pay: At least three weeks before submitting the physical application to the immigration office.
Consular Fee for the Single Permit
  • Amount: 120 EUR (RON equivalent)
  • Where to pay: At the Treasury / ANAF
  • Account: State budget, account RO58TREZ57620340101XXXXX, beneficiary IGI, code 22084517 for Sibiu County. For other counties, accounts are displayed at ANAF.
  • Note: The RON equivalent is paid at the BNR exchange rate on the day of payment.
  • When to pay: With the first application and with each extension of the residence permit.

Mandatory for obtaining the single work and residence permit after arrival in Romania. Paid upon submission of the application for the first permit.

  • Amount: 259 RON
  • Where to pay:
    • For Individuals: At any CEC Bank territorial unit
    • For Legal Entities: Via bank transfer to account RO35CECEB00030RON1278595
  • Note: This represents the physical cost of the residence permit.
  • When to pay: Upon extending the right to residency.

  • Where to pay: At the Romanian diplomatic mission/consulate in the country of origin.

Fee for Duplicate Employment Endorsement (if applicable)
  • Amount: The service provided is free
  • Observations: Applies only in case of loss, damage, or destruction of the original endorsement.
