Permanent Residence Permit

This service is for foreign citizens who have lived legally in Romania for an extended period and wish to settle permanently.

Getting a permanent residence permit is a big step toward settling long-term in Romania, but the process can be particularly complex and stressful. After years of renewing temporary permits, many foreign nationals face a bureaucratic maze when trying to make their stay permanent.

Strict documentation requirements, proof of integration into Romanian society, and complex procedures across multiple institutions can turn this crucial stage into a frustrating experience. Without specific inside knowledge of the system, the risk of your application being rejected increases significantly, which could impact your long-term plans in Romania.

Most foreign nationals waste hours traveling to different institutions, filling out complex forms, and waiting in endless queues, only to find out their application needs additional documents or has been rejected due to technicalities.
